GENERAL CONDITIONS OF CONTRACT
Booking and payment:
The booking is confirmed by being sent out. 25 percent of the rent is payable within 12 days. By paying this in advance the lessee accepts the terms of the lease. The balance of the rent is payable not later than sixty days before arrival. The reservation is cancelled without warning if the above-stated payment deadlines are not met. If the reservation is made later than 60 days before arrival, the whole sum must be paid immediately.
Cancellation insurance:
The optional cancellation insurance premium must be paid with the initial rent payment. To be valid the following conditions apply when the premium has been paid: If the guest cancels the reservation more than 60 days before arrival, the whole advance payment is refunded, less an administrative charge per unit. In the event of cancellation within 60 days of arrival, the lessor retains the whole of the advance unless the conditions of the cancellation insurance are satisfied. The cancellation insurance applies if the lessee, or his/her spouse, child, parent or cohabitee is taken ill, meets with an accident or dies. A doctor`s certificate must be sent to the lessor immediately. Provided that these conditions are satisfied, the whole sum paid will be refunded, less the administrative charge per unit. The cancellation insurance premium is not refundable. Cancellation must be in writing. The administrative charge are NOK 250.
Lessees’ responsibilities:
The lessee/orderer must be over 20 years of age, as must the person
responsible for the cabin/apartment during your stay. In the new year and easter periods all the guests staying in our cabins and apartments must be over 20 years of age, and the responsible lessee must be over 23 years of age. (Not when it comes to families). A valid ID-card will be requested at point of check in. If situations occur that require visit by our security personnel, all guests in the cabin/apartment might be asked for identification.
The lessee must comply with the current house rules. The leased unit of accommodation may only be occupied by the number of persons stated in the lease. It`s not allowed to bring stereo sound systems/music players into our cabins and apartments. Noise and disturbance on the premises, which is annoying to our other guests, will incur a formal warning. If this warning is not complied with, immediate eviction will follow. In such a case the rent is not refundable. On departure the cabin or flat shall be tidied up and cleaned in accordance with the rules. In the event of any damaged or missing furniture, furnishing or equipment, or any unnecessary fire alarm, or any vandalism, damage or unsatisfactory cleaning, compensation will be demanded on departure or will be invoiced later.
No smoking:
Our cabins and apartments are smoke-free. We hope all of our guests respect this!
Reservation:
The lessor cannot be held responsible for unsatisfactory snow conditions, closed facilities or other circumstances beyond his control.
Complaints:
Any complaints during a stay should be presented to the landlord on site and within a reasonable time, latest at 10 o`clock the day after arrival, so that the defect/fault can be immediately corrected and any inconvenience caused to guests is kept to a minimum. If a complaint is not made, the right to any subsequent compensation is usually forfeited.
Deposit:
We recerve the right to register your credit card at check in, for the following amount: 4-9 beds NOK 1000, 10-19 beds NOK 2000, 20-36 beds NOK 5000. Please note that no transaction is done, we will only keep card details on file. The credit card will not be charged without an approval from you. The purpose with the deposit is to insure the cabins against criminal damage.
Check-in and check-out:
Check-in is earliest 5 PM and check-out is before 11 AM at the latest.
Name list:
Please send us a name list of guests staying at the New Year and Easter.
